Large Self Catering Apartments in London:

A range of impressive two bedroom self catering apartments.

Westbourne terrace is part of a magnificent and imposing Regency terrace. These centrally located apartments are in London's prestigious City of Westminster. They benefit from free off street parking, essential for central London. Situated just a few minutes walk from Paddington train station, Heathrow Airport Express and London Underground (tube station) and Oxford Street.

All apartments are furnished to a high standard and benefit from a recent overhaul. All boast designer leather sofas, clean, modern laminate flooring and fully tiled, hotel style bathrooms. Quality, full size (not compact) dining tables and furniture. Keeping with the hotel quality, in the bedrooms, we use professionally laundered, crisp white bedding and towels.

What makes these apartments unique?

At night the apartments take on a new form with stylish accent lighting that automatically switches itself on and off. In the kitchen, a large glass atrium and glass block walling allows natural light to flood in during the day but at night these walls are automatically back lit in green. This gives one end of the apartment a stylish, moody green hue, that is until you activate the sensor by entering the kitchen area, where the lights automatically change for more suitable brighter lighting for your kitchen chores. Similarly at the other end of the lounge area a motion sensor activates night lighting in the courtyard, even if you are not in the courtyard, it is lit up and provides a perfect back drop bringing the lounge area into the outside.

All flats benefit from spacious open plan living/dining-room with very impressive high ceilings. Their appeal is not just the height but the original barrel-vaulting of these stone ceilings. All have unusual but impressive stone walls. Some of these walls are three foot thick and we believe that such insulation combined with natural lighting only coming from the inner courtyards are what makes our apartments so special – IT’S QUIET! When you close the doors you are sealed away from the noise and humdrum of the West End. Indeed many guest return due to their ideal location in the heart of the hustle and bustle but in a world of peace when you close the doors. The tall stone walls are embellished with contemporary modern art in the form of printed fabric stretched over boards to create gallery style giant wall pictures.

Flooring is a mix of tiles and equally hygienic easy clean, laminate floors throughout. The only places that have carpets are the entrance hallway and stairs. Each apartment has a small, fully enclosed private sitting-out patio areas (courtyard). All apartments boast the latest technology such a digital keyless entry and automatic lighting.

Lounge and Dining Room:
This large barrel vaulted ceiling room is a mix of stylish mirrors, modern glass, steel and leather furniture. Contemporary glass dining table is complemented by modern high back leather dining chairs. Slick designer leather sofa’s compliment the rooms style whilst an almost full length glazed wall with central French doors allows light to flood in at one end. A similar arrangement is echoed at the other end of this large room, however the enclosed courtyard is occupied by the well appointed kitchen. The entire room is lit by a large array of carefully laid out pin spot mood lighting.

Modern, light and airy galley-style kitchens with solid dark wood fitted units, high sheen granite effect, wall to wall worktops. Stylish stainless steel cooking equipment, including microwave (two in each apartment), four burner gas hob, double oven and full size washing machine. (Washing machine may be situated in the secondary bedroom in some apartments). Each kitchen is partially open plan to the lounge / diner by use of glass partition. It may be fully screened off by closing the fully glazed french doors.

Two double bedrooms. Main master bedroom with double bed is en-suite to the bathroom / WC. It offers large fully glazed french doors that open onto the small private courtyard patio area. The second bedroom leads from the lounge and is more compact with adult-size metal bunks, the lower bunk is a full size double bed. It is close to the hallway washroom/ WC.

Bathrooms / Washrooms:
Modern, clean, fully tiled Bathroom / W.C. with full size bath and high quality power showers. Also in the main hallway is a separate cloakroom / W.C. with hand basin. Due to it's close proximity this smaller washroom is usually used by the occupants of the secondary bedroom.

The apartments are quite simple in layout. The front door opens onto a descending flight of stairs to a central corridor which leads to all facilities for each apartment.
